"Love, Philadelphia"

Posted by Shrigley Photography (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States) on 9 September 2009 in Art & Design and Portfolio.

You may have read yesterday that I now reside in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Just in case you haven't, feel free to read yesterday's post. So, for my starter picture (and perhaps a bit of a cliche) I've posted one from Love Park. (Actually, the real cliche might be posting the Liberty Bell, but that's for another date). I suppose the main point of interest is this statue. Sure, there problems with skate boarders (I don't mind them) and some homeless people who call Love Park home, but those tend to be secondary when one actually sees the statue. It's very simple, but really quite cool.

Please feel free to leave constructive comments (positive, negative, indifferent). I think feedback is one of the most important tools anyone can use when engaged in the learning process.
