Hello!

Thanks for stopping by yesterday!

This was taken on a very dark night around the Jefferson Monument, where the world famous Cherry Blossoms are located. I've not seen them before this weekend, so I was new to the whole experience.

The reason this photo is so dark is because the electricity was out that night around the basin and only flood lights offered any help. I have some photos of the Jefferson Monument, but even on my lowest ISO setting they came out noisy.

Hope all is well for everyone. See you soon!

Nice angle but a bit too dark for me ! Is it a night shot ?

@zOOm: Yes, it is a night shot. The power had gone out all around the basin that night, so the only light was coming from traffic or from the flood lights that were around. There wasn't much light to speak of, so taking a walk was difficult, but we still did it. thanks for your comment! :)

It's beautiful, and such a smooth night shot, very romantic, you took advantage of the lack of light to make it a perfect mood!
