Washington Monument

Posted by Shrigley Photography (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States) on 9 January 2009 in Architecture and Portfolio.

Just a photo of the Washington Monument. One of my favorite things to do in this city is to just walk and take photos. When I've had a tough week or I've simply had enough, I usually find myself walking the mall at some point over the weekend. Walking is just therapy to begin with, but walking the mall is an entirely different experience. I have so many photos of it, and still so many more I want to take.

See you soon!

Nice little silhouettes... and flags... everything seems so... tiny ! Great and huge perspective.

My goodness, Shrig - that wind was whipping as you took this sunset scene. Well done.

EYES WIDE SHUT from The library of my soul, United Kingdom

Beautifully captured, and full of drama and detail in that wondeful sky.

An interesting "massive' monument with the circle of flags to provide a setting. Nice shot. No doubt one cannot exhaust the possibilities of this fabulous place.
