Center Stage

You'll have to excuse my obsession with the Capital building, I think it's quite possibly my favorite in DC.

I wanted to show you the stage where President Elect Obama will be sworn in. This was taken about a month or so ago, so it is built well beyond this point right now.

Things are rather exciting around the city and I'll do my best to document it, if I can get out of work in time to get some photos during the day, it's still so dark at night. But I am going to try to get to the inauguration, so we'll see where it goes.

All the best!

...I can hear the growing flourishes of, "Hail to The Chief..." Nice, Shrig - and making me homesick.

Nice work. You are a photojournalist and a photo-poet at heart Shrig.
