Lincoln

I've decided to try the Washington Monument Project again, so yesterday I took another walk out to the Lincoln Memorial. This by far one of the most popular attractions in DC. Even though it's rather cold outside these days (at least by DC terms) the tourists are here all year around.

I'll be posting DC photos for a little while, I know many haven't been here yet and would like to see more. If you have any requests, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I love how you captured this...and I like your perspective. I was to DC when I was 11 or 12, that was a long long time agoand I didn't appreciate it then...would love to go someday again. My son who is a senior in high school is actually there right now on a senior trip but it is a whirlwind tour...they don't spend much time at one place.

You have framed Lincoln so nicely amidst those vertical columns and horizontal steps. The lighting on the statue is great and I really like the 'ghost' images. Great idea to use a slow shutter speed.
