NYC II: Pennsylvania Station, New York City

Posted by Shrigley Photography (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States) on 13 August 2007 in Lifestyle & Culture.

There are two Penn Stations in this area, one in Newark, New Jersey and the other in New York City.

Simon asked one time if I could post some transportation pictures the next time I got to the city, and I took this one just for him. These are people getting off the train and going about thier business. I must admit, I had to rush to take this picture. People get off at such a fast rate one could get run over if they dilly-dally (did I spell that right??) for more then about 5 seconds, and that is a very consertative guess. ;)

Thanks for all those that are stopping by and commenting, or just even stopping by to look :)

Nice opportune capture, Shrig! Wonderful tones...

p.s. sorry haven't been back to your site and return the visit. Been on hiatus due to work being too hectic. But I'm hoping to get back to p-blogging soon! Cheers! B-)

It's a smal station ! not very much place between the train and the wall ... !!!

@Inés: It is such a tiny platform, you're exactly right.

Nice shot and yes the platform is very narrow. It's like the underground system in London, it's a nightmare during rush hour.
