NYC Series II: T-Shirts

Posted by Shrigley Photography (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States) on 6 August 2007 in Lifestyle & Culture.

Happy Monday!

I'll be presenting NYC pictures for the week. I had the opportunity to visit the city last week, however our time there was quite short being that it was so hot outside.

I hope you enjoy the upcoming series on New York City. Next week I'll present pictures of Cape May, New Jersey.

Until Tomorrow...

Please feel free to leave constructive comments (positive, negative, indifferent). I think feedback is one of the most important tools anyone can use when engaged in the learning process.

nice capture :)
the t-shirts remind of the many shirts that were the only remaining reminders of a loved one who was never found after the A-bomb dropped on Hiroshima today 62 years ago... many of the bodies of the loved ones could not be found as they were either vapourised by the radiating heat or were buried in mass graves hurriedly as bodies decomposed everywhere...

watched a sad documentary about it...

i think the 9/11 incident was just as bad for many who lost loved ones whose bodies was never recovered...

may such things never happen again...

@kairospix: Oh No! It was never my intention to make you sad. I'm actually watching a documentry right now on the bombings in Japan. I'm not a fan of war at all, much less bombing someone. It is quite awful what happend on both counts, but you should know that NYC has come along very nicely. It was good to see so many people get up, dust themselves off and get back to daily life.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. :)

Peace.

This is a classic NYC shot. Kairopix was already reflecting on the memories of this awful day 40yrs. ago, before he came to your post. (I think) I've read his for this day.

Your doing nice photography, good luck in school.
