Upper East SidePosted by Shrigley Photography (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States) on 2 July 2007 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. Happy Monday! Can't believe July is here already. Wasn't May yesterday sometime? Anyway, continuing with the inspiration of Simon, this is a shot of the sky/trees/buildings of the Upper East Side . It is located between Central Park and the East River. Its home to countless movies and stories that we've all saw or read. We've been here quite a few times, and no, not to attend any parties, but the Upper East Side is where most of the consulates are located. So when we (mostly my boyfriend) needs a visa, this is where we have to apply. It's quite nice. I think its one of the few places one would feel safe, at least more then other places in the city. Besides really expensive shopping and Central Park is the Metropolitan Museum of Art and I think the Museum of Modern Art is in the general area as well. Regardless, if you ever get to the city, be sure to check them out. Be sure to check back on previous NYC pictures, I've added links that might be of some interest. Until Tomorrow... Please feel free to leave constructive comments (positive, negative, indifferent). I think feedback is one of the most important tools anyone can use when engaged in the learning process. "Be well, do good work and keep in touch."
