Empire State BuildingPosted by Shrigley Photography (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States) on 26 June 2007 in Architecture and Portfolio. From one city to another, we now visit New York City. This week will be a series of pictures from NYC (thanks to Simon). I thought I would start off with a classic, the Empire State Building. I took this out of the sunroof of our car while driving by I hope that you find the pictures interesting. It truly is a photographers dream...okay, well at least one of them. :P Until Tomorrow... Please feel free to leave constructive comments (positive, negative, indifferent). I think feedback is one of the most important tools anyone can use when engaged in the learning process. Back home (State College, Pennsylvania) there is a giant cow on top of a restruant. ;) Its too funny. simon from Singapore, Singaporeaye, great start to the series! looking forward to more =) 26 Jun 2007 2:19pm @simon: Hey Buddy! NYC is a fantastic place. I've been there quite a few times and EVERY time I go I still find myself amazed by the sites/sounds/smells/traffic ;) The traffic there is...horrible. I will drive through many places, but NYC is not one of them. I've always taken a train (or someone else has driven). To a certain extent, I don't think its safe for me to drive in the city. I still get too damn excited when I see it. And I'm so sorry to day, I have no pics of the train/subway. However, the next time I head up there, I'll be sure to catch one and post it. :) Levine from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaThey shot king kong down from the building! So sad. The building looks like as if its on fire... 26 Jun 2007 7:04pm @Levine: Oh no. King Kong is still alive.. He did the second movie. He's just...busy....I think...B-) It kind of does look like its on fire, but its not. I can assure you. :) @Naimi: Thanks:) Erik from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsA true sky scraper! Very impressive, nice color repression. 28 Jun 2007 7:31pm Wayne from Melbourne, AustraliaYou're off to a grand start!
