BooksPosted by Shrigley Photography (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States) on 12 June 2007 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio. I read in a book where a photographer, while taking a picture of a garden, set his camera to a slow shutter speed and while the camera was taking the picture he moved it in a slow, circular motion. The result was this fantastic swirl of different flowers and colors. I use the same idea and with our book only I moved the camera up and down. Thanks again for all your comments! Hope everyone is doing well. :)

There is a lot you can do with the focus movement or camera movement when using the slow shutter. The results are amazing at times. Guess, there is no end to creativity when comes to photography. :) I love the black and white conversion here, it just rocks. 12 Jun 2007 5:51pm Images by KC Photography from Redmond, United StatesSuch a great idea and a great shot 12 Jun 2007 7:41pm bronzebilly u.k. from cardiff, United Kingdomhey Shrig--great variation on the mentioned theme--result--billy 12 Jun 2007 10:25pm JoyAnna from Washington, DC, United Statesamazing picture I absolutely love what you did. 13 Jun 2007 3:10am haole kokua from Pearl City, United Stateswow. that is pretty nice! congrats on a good outcome. messing with shutter speed is so much fun! 26 Jun 2007 9:52am |
