Flower (as creative as I can get for a title now)Posted by Shrigley Photography (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States) on 5 June 2007 in Plant & Nature. I found this pretty flower coming home from lab the other day. I liked it because of the purplish color of the petals and thought the shape was nice as well. I know flowers are a very popular subject to post about, which is why I try to keep them down to a minimum, but I couldn't resist posting this one. Thanks again for all the comments yesterday! Until tomorrow ... :) Please feel free to leave constructive comments (positive, negative, indifferent). I think feedback is one of the most important tools anyone can use when engaged in the learning process. "Be well, do good work and keep in touch."

@celialee: Thanks. It was very pretty :) {H} creatives from Santa Clara, United StatesHi Shrig, I think it's great how you framed this one and make a rectangular size. Nice flower, indeed. 5 Jun 2007 8:19am @{H} creatives: Thanks :) @Jen: Thank you :) @badala: Thank you :) Nice to see you again. @Balpa: Thanks! :) @Reza: Thank you :) Erik from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsThere it is again! Curious to see that in the u.S. the same flowers are florishing as in the Dutch gardens, we have it in our garden, too and they are not easy to photograph because their heads are hanging "looking at" the ground, but this one seems to look upwards. I have a second look to see how serious that hanging is, maybe I have also upwardly looking flowers. 8 Jun 2007 12:47pm @Erik: This flower was looking more straight ahead then up. The next day when I saw it, the flower was looking down and wilting more. Perhaps its catching them at the right time or different breeds look up/down/straight on differently. I'm not sure myself. Thanks for stopping by. :) |
