I hope you Americans or Canadians (I don't know from what country you are) do the utmost to preserve these trees: they are really miracles of nature, having survived so many centuries and wood fires!

@Erik: Yes, I hope so too. They are certainly beautiful (and necessary!). This picture actually taken here:

They specially designed the bridges to work around the trees, so there is little or no strain them. It was a beautiful walk. If you ever get a chance to visit Vancouver, I recommend this tour.

@Evie: Hi! I actually didn't have to get low at all. I was standing when I took the picture, that's how tall the trees are (and how not-so-tall I am ;) ).
